Copy-editing

After abstract and manuscript peer review are complete, and editor's decision is submitted as "accepted", all articles go through a copy-editing process.

In the copy-editing, articles are checked and reviewed extensively for conformance to style and format. A limited check on readability, English language, and figure and table readability is undertaken.

Every article is checked for similarity and possible plagiarism using iThenticate from Turnitin. Articles with high similarity percentages are returned to authors for rectification till the similarity reaches an acceptable level.

If an article requires to be returned to the author, the copy-editors will do so. At that time, authors must respond to the copy-editor's comments within a limited time to ensure that production can be completed in time for publication.
