The Australasia and South East Asia Conference in Structural Engineering and Construction is a biennial conference organised by ISEC in the alternative year to ISEC series of conference. The inaugural ASEA-SEC-1 conference was successfully held in 2012, in Perth, Western Australia.

It is with my great pleasure and excitement that I announce that the second Australasia and Southeast Asia Conference in Structural Engineering and Construction (ASEA-SEC-2) will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, in 2014, during Thailand’s most charming festival, ‘Loi Krathong’, Nov 3-7, 2014.   

Thailand is a newly industrialised country formerly known as Siam, the only country in Southeast Asia that never experienced foreign colonisation.  I am sure you will enjoy the exotic tradition and culture of Thailand while attending the conference.
