Dear Friends and Colleagues,

You are invited to join us at the inaugural Australasia and South East Asia Conference, ASEA-SEC-1, in Perth, on 28 – 30 November, 2012. The Conference is being organised by the staff of the Department of Civil Engineering, Curtin University, and will be held at our beautiful main campus, a few kilometres south of the Perth CBD.

Following the success of past ISEC Conferences, we are proud to host the first ASEA-SEC Conference. The conference theme is "Research, Development and Practice in Structural Engineering and Construction." This conference will bring together current academic research and development activity and the industrial practices in all aspects of Structural Engineering and Construction.

We look forward to welcoming you to Perth, Western Australia and the Curtin University campus in November 2012. We will do everything possible to make this event a memorable occasion for delegates and accompanying persons.
