It is with great pleasure that we now announce the Second Latin American Conference in Structural Engineering and Construction (LATAM SEC 2026).

Welcome to LATAM SEC 2026, which will be hosted by the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, in Quito from 23 thru 27 March, 2026. The conference theme is “Addressing social and environmental challenges through responsible construction technologies."

LATAM SEC-2026 is the second ISEC conference to focus on Central and South America. It is an opportunity to learn about what is going on in the region and around the world while meeting new people. The conference is devoted to scientific exchanges among participants and is intended to maximize interactions while also encouraging networking and future collaborations. Encouraged by the overall success of the ISEC Conference series, the Conference aims to bring together current academic research and development studies and initiatives, as well as industrial practices in all aspects of structural engineering and construction. It will include one day of pre-conference activities, two days of concurrent technical sessions and a banquet, and a day of technical and cultural tours.
